WiFi Pineapple Mark V - Upgrade Firmware




This video covers how to Upgrade Firmware on the WiFi Pineapple Mark V

1. Download Latest Firmware!

2. Download Putty!
Putty.org if putty.org isn't working direct link below:
http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/late.../putty.exe
3. Download WinSCP!
http://winscp.net/eng/download.php
Click Installation package Link
install WinSCP

Once ready connect WiFi Pineapple MK5 to the computer over ethernet.
Either rename your upgrade bin file to upgrade.bin for easy use later or just use tab to auto complete later
Easier to rename you're upgrade.bin to upgrade.bin and then transfer it over WinSCP

Putty Commands:
cd /tmp/
then press enter

Flashing command used:
sysupgrade -n -v /tmp/upgrade.bin

make sure you're bin file is named upgrade to use that command otherwise just type
sysupgrade -n -v /tmp/upg
then press tab one time it should auto finish spelling the firmware you put in the tmp folder.
