[Hydra]

Due to the high amount of interest shown in this thread, I am posting this thread as the GOTO thread for the HF Event.

This thread will contain everything. Discussions, videos, nominations, everything. No other threads should be created, we can't have 100's of threads being posted, that's spam and nonsense.

What is ALS?
Spoiler (Click to View)
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease," is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed. >Read More

What's the Ice Bucket Challenge?
Spoiler (Click to View)
The Ice Bucket Challenge is a challenge where one person starts the trend. S/he will grab a bucket, pour water and ice in it to make it very cold, and pour it on themselves. This is all recorded as well. Before or after you do this, you nominate up to 3 people and then donate to www.alsa.org . The amount is up to you, you don't need to donate $100, and even $1 counts. 1,000 people donating $1 is $1,000, which is a lot. Then the 3 nominated people will do the same thing.

I got Nominated, What do I have to do?
Spoiler (Click to View)
You need to grab a bucket, pour water and ice. Wait for it to get cold and as you wait, nominate up to 3 HF members who weren't nominated already. After you do, pour the entire bucket on yourself. This all has to be recorded, and then uploaded to YouTube. You then have to donate to ASLA( www.alsa.org ). After doing all that, you will post in this thread with the YouTube link and proof of donation(block any personal details). Make sure you PM your nominees so they are aware of it! That is crucial!

My payment processor isn't supported:
Spoiler (Click to View)

I do not have any money to donate at all:
Spoiler (Click to View)
If you absolutely do not have any money to donate, that is fine. If you can, talk with your family and come up with some type of payment because this is all going towards a good cause!

Cool thread! Yay im the first post so everyone will read me ;)

I doubt many people are going to do it though :/

[Traphik]

I actually got nominated by my friends 30 minutes ago lol. I might do 2 takes, one with a mask and one without haha

[Wired‌]

I've had ice water poured on me many times. It's just cold and kind of uncomfortable, nothing amazing about it. Also not very funny reactions in a lot of the videos. Challenges like eating hot peppers are a lot funnier.

[Majinferno]

Yea I made a thread concerning the creation of an official ice challenge, but not many people were down for it. This is kinda unofficial, but I don't really care to much.

Nice. I'm pretty excited to see who nominates who and how much we can all donate. Nice nominations too. It begins!!

[saiyanꞀ]

The first time I've seen someone do this was on instagram & that was The Rock lol. I think some people would do it.

['Ryan]

Holy shit someone nominate me. That's got to give you a breen freeze straight from hell.

[Yumi]

Cool thread. Hope to see a couple people do this.

[⭐ ＰＲＯＦＩＴ ⭐]

I hope i don't get nominated...
i don't wanna leave my computer to go buy ice.

[Alice Dee]

These ice bucket challenges are shit. The New Zealand Ice Bucket Challenges are vicious!

[BottomNotch]

ASLA scamming? Not possible. Over 30 million dollars has been donated, it can't be.
