I'm wondering if anyone has any better ways of cropping an image out. Usually when I want to crop a character out of an image I use the Magic Wand tool but I don't like how it isin't very accurate.

Use the the pentool for accurate shiet, and you mean cutting out not cropping

It all depends what you're cutting out, and from what background, I would recommend the pen tool, it may not be the 'Lazy' option, but it certainly gives a sharper outcome in most cases.

Masking is also a good tool to use,

*Edit: Just realized you're using paint.net and not photoshop, should be the same idea though.
