6. Bakemonogatari (starts slow, picks up after ep 3 or 4, 10/10 not as action-y though)
7. Welcome to the NHK (I prefered dub, 9/10)
8. Zankyou no Terror

Order you should watch:
Noragami (only 12 eps)
Zankyou no Terror (12 eps)
Aldnoah.Zero (only 12 eps)

My top choice for you would be Hamatora The Animation.
Should have all of what you're looking for, especially in the 2nd season.

The 1st season will be a little slower, but it's necessary for the plot and isn't all that bad.

My second choice is Zankyou no Terror, as people have been suggesting a lot.

I also recommend Sunday Without God. I'll first note that there's really no reference to religion nor is there any religious type folk who go crazy or anything. It's more about "What would the world be like if God just left". The villages/world has a sort of Attack on Titan vibe in the sense that it's less technological than ours. Otherwise it's not as if humanity is on the brink of extinction like in BlackBullet/Attack on Titan.

There's some bits of action/strategy but not much. But it's still pretty interesting.

Ergo Proxy. A future society with androids and whatnot. Has an Attack on Titan vibe in the sense that people live in walls and can't explore the outside world. A fairly mysterious anime with some action and fighting too.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica. I quote this one over in SRPP a lot because of its philosophical value. There's also fighting and whatnot.

I recommend the same shit because most of the people posting here are new to anime and that's what I think they would all like. He said "action" so I threw in some in there with plenty of fight scenes. I recommend better anime in the lounge, anybody that posts a thread for recs are new to anime so I recommend them the same. All I do is literally c+p on every rec thread, they all ask for the same. Gurren Lagann would fit most, same with A.Z since he liked Code Geass. I threw in Samurai Champloo since he seems too like mainstream anime and the dub isn't bad. Welcome to the NHK is pretty philosophical and thought provoking.

Personally, it just shows me how out of whack your standards are. I don't update my hummingbird or MAL often enough for you to know what I've seen but it's fine if you think that's relevant. I was basing it on the fact that you can take a show like MN seriously, while calling a show that is clearly meant to be funny "pleb tier". It's an action comedy, a pretty decent one at that.

Tastes are subjective, it has nothing to do with taking an anime "seriously" I don't take any anime seriously, they exist to entertain me and nothing else, who the fuck are you to judge me because I liked something that entertained me?
