Policy Question

Infecting Members

Let's say I put a backdoored download on a forum in-which HF members may be active on, and then a member from hf downloads the file.
Am I in the wrong?

No, whatever you do offsite is non of our business.

Staff here don't police the whole internet.

I think it only applies to this forum.
You shouldn't knowingly infect members of HF ever.

I don't mean it as in purposely infecting members.
Well no, if you have no clue that there is HF members on that other forum nothing can be done.. But if you know they are a hf member you should probably remove it.
If they find out that its you doing it then you can be reported. Just because you are doing it off-site does not give you the right to go around infecting members.
