Which websites doesn't support Internet Explorer? Which version of it were you using?
Fiat justitia ruat cælum
My era of providing technical support and malware removal on HackForums is over, so you can stop PM'ing me about it. Sorry.
If you're truly that allergic to Internet Explorer, you might want to look into ninite, Chrome enterprise/offline installer, Firefox portable, or if you're really desperate and don't have much space, wget.exe
IE suits my needs whenever I reformat and reinstall. I don't like to use it as my primary browser, but it's not torture.
The latest versions of IE aren't actually that bad to use. You just have to use it and get used to something different. Almost every single site you use will work just as well on IE as any other browser. The problem you have is that you're bringing outside bias to your 5 minute experimentation.
Try it and only IE for one full week. You'll probably find it inadequate compared to something like Chrome, but at least then you will have given it a fair chance. I'm also certain you'll realize it aint as bad as people often say. My web dev self cringes at saying that. Developing for legacy IE browsers is a serious pain in the ass. |
