Windows 7 Wont install. Error after error after error.

I had to do a re-install today. Nothing out of the ordinary, I've done loads of these but this one has been a fucking disaster.

Firstly 3 of the CD's didn't work. They worked for a bit, they would copy fine, then expand the files and at around 70%-80% They all said "Missing files blah blah..."

FInally got a CD that works. Now im getting
Quote:Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only installed on GPT disks.

I beg someone help me before I smash the fucking shit out of this PC. My hard drive is perfectly fine, I've checked everything.

The last 4-5 CD's managed to at least try to install, this one isn't even letting me choose what HDD to use, There's no MBR partition, I've deleted it, re-added it and it still calls it incorrect. This is the only one doing it. I've been going for hours at this PC, I've never had an issue like this while installing windows.

Woah, more. I have 3 Hard drives:

1TB
500GB
320GB.

The first and last are okay, but its telling me my 500gb is only 100mb total space with 32mb free?

From where you create or delete partitions press Shift + F10 keys at same time type Diskpart command into Command Prompt that is opened and press Enter key. Type list disk found the disk number that is associated with hard disk drive (HDD) you want to convert to GPT disk and type select disk 0 replace zero number with the number that is assign to hard disk drive you want to convert to GPT disk. Type clean press enter key (warning the clean command will delete all data and partitions on the selected HDD). Type convert GPT command and press enter key. You can exit the Command Prompt and try install the Windows OS.
You should always do a Windows Install via a USB stick it's way faster then a CD

Download a Windows 7 ISO and put it on it's pretty simple to use

I'm sure you can find a youtube video how to use it even.

Good luck op

edit: done that, followed all instrucions precicely and its saying its not mbr formatted

It created them from the actual windows installer itself. on the disc selection bit I deleted the main drive, added it and it said window will add its own partitions.

The install worked finally after I messed with partitions enough, but again, for at least the 10th time today booting on different devices all times. it now says
"Windows cannot install, due to missing files"
Obviously not that but along those lines. I'm to busy punching stuff to read it all.

Any suggestions about this?

Thanks for the help
