[HELP] system32/drivers/etc/host

Hello,

So lately I have been scanning my computer with Malwarebytes and every time I scan it finds 2 or 3 of these PUPS.

C:/WINDOWS/system32/drivers/etc/host

It keeps finding it no matter what I do Quarantine, Fix, Remove and so on.
Anybody knows how to fix it?
Would be much appreciated.

Best Regards,
I think this is because your Host file is getting changed by malware/s or spyware.
Malwares can change your Host file and redirect you to an malicious website, and we dont want that happening.

Can you try to open your host file as Notepad and see what it says?

Just copy paste it all in your next reply.
These pups, Whats the name of them?
if it is just 2-3 PUPS found I doubt it is anything serious

It's possible that malware is reinfecting your hosts file. Would you like a checkup?
just post the contents in your host file..
1. right click on the host file and open it with notepad
2.paste the contents here
maybe your host file is being modified there can be two possibilities
1. either you used some crack/keygen for activating some of your products. these keygens block the ip to prevent registration validation checks (like IDM keygen)
2. or maybe you are infected to redirect you to certain websites
just update the thread with your host file content
