Ghost clients are incredibly stupid. I am releasing this because people are selling ghost clients, when in reality they include less features than all free clients. There's no reason for a client with such a limited amount of features to be treated higher than other clients, nor is there any reason for it to cost money or to be private.

This is Scooby. A free and open source ghost client.

What is a Ghost Client?
A Ghost Client is an incredibly simple Minecraft client, generally distributed in the form of a LiteMod or a Forge mod. They are used to make the player appear to be playing legit when recording or screensharing with an admin.

Will you be updating this frequently?
Nope. I'll add maybe one or two more features, and then stop updating the mod unless something breaks or Minecraft updates. Like I said, Ghost clients are stupid and only provide simple features; no ghost client will be better or worse than another, so there's not really much work that needs to be done here.

How do I install this?
Get Forge, and then just install it like any other Forge mod.

A modified client typically used for cheating without any HUD modifications in order to look like a legit client.

Pretty much. Since they are all private or cost money, I wanted to throw a simple one together so that the market for them declines.

This is a good idea, even though I make money from ghost clients, they are unnecessary and are circle jerked for no reason. The thing you have to remember is when making a forge client, the server can detect you are using forge and get the modid, detecting the client and therefore banning you. So yeah just disguise it.

i've been trying to make a ghost client for the past few days. it's hard to relearn something you haven't touched in months...
