Shoutout to Anchronology for a few of the control designs.

Hey guys. I don't have much free time any more, but I wanted to get back into front-end application development. I came across a design that I liked while browsing Dribbble in class one day and decided to recreate it using GDI. Typically I only work on this during boring lectures or down time in class, so it will probably take me a while to complete it.

Here's the design that I found on Dribbble:


And here's what I've created (so far):


The icon that you see in the lower right corner of the groupbox is a clickable button and its click event is the default event of the groupbox.
There is also an option to remove that button if you decide that it's unnecessary.

Also, the colors are 100% customizable, I've just been using the same few colors throughout the theme.

I'm not sure yet if it will be open source since I'm putting a lot of time and effort into this. I'm doing what I can to make the theme as lag-free and efficient as possible, including removing redundant invalidations and avoiding clutter in the OnPaint() event.

I'll be updating this thread as more controls are added.

Let me know what you guys think about the design. I also want to hear your opinions on whether it should be free or not.

No problem, the coloured sides of the panels have outlines too;
if you zoom in the image in a image editor you should be able to see the design
quite easily and replicate it perfectly. :P

Dark themes are my favorite but it's because a light theme has to be done right to look good... and, as usual, you pulled it off again! I hope you do release it but, if not, that's cool too... Great Job Homie! ;)

I wouldn't let the poll decide to an extent,
I rated "I'm not a fan" because in my opinion I've never really been for these modern looking themes;
that is just an opinion.

That shouldn't stop you from selling something you've worked hard on.

Yeah I understand. The poll will give me statistics on how many people liked the theme and how many didn't. If most people like the theme, I expect the demand to be high and will probably end up trying to sell it.

The results of the poll aren't really relevant right now though since the theme is not complete and there aren't many votes yet

I love light themes since i don't see that much of them, and i must say if you make a full theme you have my support. Great job.

It reminds me of Xertz's Elegant theme. Perhaps its just the green along with small text.
I'll be adding the border to the color on the side when I get the chance, but I want to keep the image/button at the bottom of the group box. I feel like it's something that other themes don't have, and being unique is extremely important in the theme development world.

I Voted Not A Fan As Well I'm Not A Fan Of Lighter Themes, Also The Buttons Seem A Bit Too Erm, Edged, Like They Stand Out Obnoxiously Compared To The Background.

But Good Job OP, I'm Not A Fan Of It But It Has That "Panel" Look That Is Gaining Popularity At The Moment.
