Keeping it short and simple.

HF is a great place for... nothing.

All aspects of HF are going to be belittled by my opinions in this thread, so either deal with it or leave.

------

HackForums seemed great to me at first. I first joined as the typical immature 12 year old. I was interested in Minecraft related things and that's where I found HackForum, under the account name "sparta417". I ended up with negative reputation and with no real reason to use HF anymore after being flamed, so I abandoned my account and joined with another account here, "Sparta.", and the old account was banned soon after my first application for UB3R.

I started out as a mediocre GFX artist and improved my skill set minimally as I went through my first month. All I cared about was reputation. This was literally the only thing new users cared about when they first joined.

And it went from there. I did GFX and barely posted in any other section. Gaining over 100 reputation points in my first month, I felt good about myself. I earned a decent amount of money from my work, but in return from my customers I received L33T and UB3R within the first three months of my stay on the forum. I also turned myself into a vigilante, constantly reporting people to admins directly via PM and so forth, trying to rid the trash of HF.

This went good and alongside, I started doing coding (in Java) for just about anything, making even a more well off amount of cash. Alongside, I was an advocate of the Minecraft Griefing section until it turned into utter horse shit. I also started posting in the Java section more, advancing my own knowledge of the language as well as helping out others. I made a few "business" partners here and there as well as meeting friends in real life that I've known from school. I wasn't bothered by anything and didn't care about anything other than my reputation and appearance on the forum.

This soon changed as my maturity progressed and life ventured through new avenues. Two years later, I realized reputation DOES NOT matter. Appearance does not matter. This is at least what I thought. I didn't give a single fuck about what I did anymore. I started handing out negative reputation to people. I started judging people on what they said. I opened myself more. This resulted in me being back-lashed by those who I attacked. I started to despise those who were low quality, inconsiderate, ignorant, and overall bigoted.

The progression of my new attitude led to my downfall of being on the forum.

I posted threads against scammers, scandal, and shitty users on the forum, as well as multiple attempts to save people from being scammed from e-books (one of my latest infamous threads on the Marketplace section)

This led to me being active more, but then again I was hurting my reputation and view by others. Still to this day I haven't changed. I don't care. It's just how I am.

I got banned more often, gained more and more bad reputation (in a sense that people didn't like my attacks on others), and yet I still didn't give a fuck.

Finally, around 6 months ago, I talked shit to Omniscient on his own thread. He banned me. We talked before about him banning, rep fucking, and closing my account. I still ignored what he said and yet I still didn't receive the latter consequences (aside from bans). Finally I got banned for a month and was warned in an extremity that I would have my account closed. No one gave a fuck about me in the first place because of what I have become.

And now I'm here. After logging in after 6 months of inactivity, I am here to post possibly the most belittling and pessimistic epitome of experience on this forum that has been posted for a while.

The Staff
Never liked any of you. Never had a favorite. Ever. I appreciated some every once in a while but overall most of them were inactive, too busy, or just assholes in general. To Omniscient personally, I never knew you on a personal scale nor does the majority of the forum, so I'll keep neutral. You are a hard working person who has brought a large community with the same interests together into one whole representation. (I can give an inkling that I have had a hate for you regardless).
To be blunt, if any of you are reading this, deal with it. It's not personal.

Honorable Mentions for Friends, or Users
Absolute. - great IRL friend, was pretty much inactive anyways but good to mention
Squidward (aka Felix the Cat, aka Felix) - business partner, friend
Mapl3 (aka Maple) - fellow Java programmer, friend
Explosion. - cousin (who I sadly decided to block communication from in any sorts)
redp0ison - Great Java programmer and high quality member.
Any other Java programmers out there that I missed. (Cosa Nostra <3)

- To those who helped me and to any of those who were logical in an argument with me.
- To those who I've missed or forgotten.

Conclusion
Almost every section on this forum has been low quality and unfairly or moderated or taken care of properly. There will always be downgrading, shitty members and staff on this forum. From my view, there is about 5% real high quality members out there that I actually deem to not have shitty posts or bigoted minds. I don't consider myself low or high quality. That's not up to me.

This forum will be the only reason why you are posting with boredom. It's because it's where you go when you're bored. In my case, it's always been that way.

Every section that is supposed to be esteemed as high quality turns to be shit. After seeing the Java section half a year later, there is no good side; it's acceleration of shitty threads and posts have increased. The Lounge is full of meaningless garbage, as well as any of the "chill" sections. Most people bullshit themselves out of a somewhat self-esteemed witty thread to get attention. The Marketplace is full of scammers, boasters, and bullshit, bullshit, and bullshit. Never have I seen people fall for such stupid tricks just so the other end can receive a quick buck on an e-book or program that took them literally less than 30 minutes to create. I'd rather not waste my time explaining how literally every section is full of bullshit and degrading quality.

I see this forum as something bland and dull now. I don't want to be any internal part of it anymore. This is why I am disconnecting myself completely and utterly from HackForums.

This is my final thread/post. I won't be on anymore starting at the end of tomorrow, 4/2/2015.

Vale.
You're a bitch end of story TL;DR. Have fun fag

I don't understand why members are making long posts like this just to announce they're leaving. I mean damn, I'd understand if this was actually feedback, but from what I've read it's just you talking shit on things. If this is what your attitude was on the rest of the forum, we're not really losing anything special.
Only use HF to deal.
But I love you please stay. I'll even pay you with rare sad frog images. If you don't I wish you good luck in any future endeavours. You seem like a cool guy to be around I've only read 2 of your posts and I know you'd have been my idol. Take care man!

Some people like me actually want to share something before they leave, because members like them actually can leave ways to improve in between the lines

Your post made no sense, and sure leave something behind, but don't make a long thread talking shit on the forum.
Only use HF to deal.

Dude...

Take a loot out side the sections, most of it is spam and he is right, I have to admit the forum has gone down hill a bit, most of it is due to the members breaking rules and Omni has had to step in.

He wants to be remembered for speaking the truth, regardless of if that truth is rude or not.

Well at least you spoke your mind, even if most of your "feedback" lacked detail or any solutions. You know the point of a feedback. Goodbye.
I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.
Well..

This uh.. was a revelation.

Even though I didn't know you, I am sure we could've been "Business Partners".

From out of the shadows and into the light, eventually we all have to come back.

He just wanted to get some reputation, duh. 🤣

Well, I'm assuming he wanted to give his final opinion. That could be the answer.

This feedback thread will be forgotten and change nothing about the forum ...

Feedbacks are like books, the author might die, but their work lives on.
