What are the best sources on where I can learn all about Java Instrumentation?

I am in need of injecting my Java code into other Java programs. I searched it up and found Instrumentation, but I am not understanding it very well.

If anybody knows any good sources on where to learn and do Instrumentation, please link them to me.

Thank-you.

you can also use BCEL, but ASM is better

and the jvm specs
http://docs.oracle.com/javase/specs/jvms/se8/jvms8.pdf

Thank-you very much for supplying the tools, but do you happen to have any tutorials on actually generally setting up Instrumentation and such? Thanks.
