So i just finished shiki and i have to say i'm disappointed in it not much happens in the 21 episodes until about the last 2 or 3.

What was your guys opinion about it if you have seen it?

couldnt get passed two episodes, terrible characters and incredibly terrible pacing.
i was trynna watch it because i like horror but it didnt seem like itd do a good job of it from what i saw and i just didnt have hope for it at all

I really liked shiki. I wasn't really disappointed in it at all either. It did a good job at showing two sides of a problem. The only thing that bothered me was the artwork of the cahracters eyes.

Funny, I literally just finished the series a few hours ago.

I thought the eyes were pretty good at helping us distinguish who's sane or not.

Personally, I don't think its right to say nothing 'really happens' till the last few episodes. It's supposed to be a horror/mystery genre and it does a really good job at keeping you on your toes guessing what the heck is going on.

I'll agree the pacing is slow in the beginning, but once the story started rolling I was completely onboard.

I'm on episode maybe 18 or so i've been watching it subbed however i only watch a few episodes at a time, it doesn't keep my interest like other animes, other series ill watch like 20-30 episodes non-stop in a day. The concept of Shiki interested me, epecially considering its a horror anime, and i just had watched tokyo ghoul. And yes having watched it all i still enjoyed the series and its a good series, but i've seen more enjoyable.

Shiki was a good one, but it was more of a suspenseful horror anime than anything.
If you can't watch it for the plot, watch it for all the crazy deaths. There are literally deaths every episode.
