That was the original auction thread. A 51% attack on the Omnicoin network caused disruption at AllCrypt exchange and I was forced to cancel the auction with the hope of fixing Omnicoin (thanks to Abraham Lincoln) and restarting the action.

It's been nearly 3 months now and I still plan to proceed with the auction. My hope is that within this month I resume the auction with an end date near June 1.

This is more of an official statement on the status of the group auction and it is not officially resumed nor am I taking bids. I will however do Group Ownership Approvals starting now. You just have to send me a PM requesting approval and I will review and respond accordingly.

More than a few members have shown interest in the group and keep asking when or if I will resume this action. So this thread should answer that question.

BTW: You can get Omnicoin at Bittrex.

Thanks.

Will second place get his/her own custom award too?

[FrostElite]

This will be good. Is this going to be about 7k usd worth of omni coin? Might be a good chance for a cheaper group.

This is a pretty sick idea, it'd be cool if all groups started this way.

Hope you don't get anymore problems, good luck!

I have not fully decided but it's more likely than not.

Damn, I was just wondering yesterday if this was still going to happen.
Thanks for the update.

I wish I could participate, I would give some friends a run for their money.

I am looking forward to a new group.

This is great news to wake up to. Can't wait for you to officially start up the auction again.

Can't wait for the auction to resume.

Can't wait for the auction to resume.

Are you going to be bidding?

[ZuGgY]

Sucks that I don't have the money to spend on this.

But yeah, great news, should get the market up again.

Good luck to all future participants.

[Tommy]

I would love to participate but I understand owners can only own one group, which is unfortunate.

Can't wait for the auction to start again, also, we were just discussing this topic minutes before you published this thread! Coincidence? Haha.
