Game input C++ library/api thing

I came across this game input api/library thing for C++ a while ago and I can't find it again! I was wondering if anyone knew about it?

It was for c++ and it was an easier way to control mouse clicks, smooth mouse movement, keyboard, etc...
ncurses or pdcurses? SDL? DirectX? OpenGL? You know there's a ton of things that match that description..
Getting Started: C/C++
[C/C++/.NET/x86 ASM - Automation Programmer]
Don't forget SFML. My favourite.
It was to simulate the peripherals like the mouse movement and keystrokes. Not to receive input. It was a thing made for hacking games.

Windows or? And there are a lot of ways to do it, and depends on how the game was made, fullscreen, etc.
