Hello, i would like to ask, what changes after FULL VIRTUAL MACHINE Cloning (vmware).. Not talking about MAC ADDRESS, this thing i know myself.

But there is something strange, trying to use software which could be used once on 1 PC, after, when i'll take a snapshot of VM, this cannot be used again, but it could be used on this VM CLONE...

So strange..

How does the software fail, what are the sympotoms?
Check the event viewer and application/system log.. see if there is a pattern regarding the application fail. (start it and see if a new event is generated) now start it and see if the same event is generated on the old vm if you still have that.

Have you tried to vms side by side? or is the old vm not available any more?
I am asking because i would like to correlate the issue with the chance of there being a windows/software update which could interfeer or something of that sort :)

It could be HWID, some programs identify computers by the serial key from the hardware parts such as hard drive, motherboard. They may be using the same HWID.
