Who here uses Hummingbird? Or do you prefer MyAnimeList instead? |

AniList > MAL > Hummingbird
MAL has a lot but I don't really care about a good chunk of it. AniList has a rating system that I'm in love with, it's also really easy to use and to keep track of airing anime. Hummingbird is just meh, if I want to talk to someone I'll do it over Skype not some twitter-esque thing.

Yeah, I think Josh will figure it out. I used to use Adblock for Hummingbird, but I know they need ads to survive. hummingbird.me/users/anime I was the first one on HF to really make it popular here, but I stopped using it. I also stopped using MAL. I'm getting too lazy to even update it anymore. I think my layout for MAL is pretty rad though myanimelist.net/animelist/me ![]()

I use HB, it's a fun community although the forums are... well, cancer for the most part. But I can shitpost on HB and it's fun talking shit those those suicidal people and then their friends start sending me threats lmao. The interface for updating currently watching anime is really quick as well, and the site looks nice. MAL looks like it was made pre-2000, it's rather hard to find things and there's like even more cancer. I use MAL for finding and reading about anime and checking ratings and reviews, but not for the social aspects of it. HB is much better at that. I never tried AniList, just looks like some combination of the two but since I enjoy HB's feed thing I'll just stick to that.

The only plus to Hummingbird is the site's social aspect, and even then it's not worth using over MAL.
