Windows detected a hard disk problem ;[

Yesterday I got the error for the first time Spoiler (Click to View) and I immediately put my most improtant files on an external HDD, but I really don't want to lose all the stuff that I already have. I tried some fixes I found on the web, but nothing helped. Do you guys have any suggestions :?
If it is SMART error then there is nothing you can do. The drive is going to die in 5 minutes or 6 months.
move onto an SSD no issues bro nobody users hd anymore

Yea, I was going to do it in the future, cuz I am saving for a macbook pro right now ;[
The important thing is to make a backup of the data, the life of your harddisk is in danger;-)
RIP HDD. You have my condolences.

Care to share the smart (crystaldisk) info?
You can use your HDD manufacturer diagnostic tool to view health of the HDD and repair minor surface errors like bad sectors.

There's no way to just "fix" the hard drive in there. Move everything you can (I would recommend using Windows Easy Transfer if you don't want to get your hands dirty). Then replace the drive immediately and reinstall Windows. The hardware has gone bad and cannot be repaired.

Same thing happened to me before, I backed up all my stuff then bought a new hard drive. Oh I also ordered(just this week) a internal hard drive case enclosure. It's basically a case for your hard drive and it "converts" your internal hard drive to a usable external hard drive for back ups.

bad advice for this issue, at least hdd's have SMART technology, once a ssd goes, its gone. go hybrid, everything is stored on the platters and only the data being used goes into the cache so you can still recover your files and have speed close to a ssd.
This means you have bad sectors on your HDD. use "HDD SCAN" to verify the issues with the drive.
For important stuff always backup, be it DVD or BD-R, or third option. I've had numerous HDD's die on me in years, sometimes 2 from same manufacturer, one dies in few months, other goes on for years.
No rules here ...
