It's hard to say who truly deserves to win this money. I'm sure their are members who are in just as bad of a situation as I am in. I don't come from a well off family, my dad and mom are always out working to pay the bills and put food on the table. That leaves me to care and watch over my little sister. If I want to purchase something, I need to save my money for a long time, as I don't have any way of getting a job. It is very tough, but it has taught me a lot. I've learned that hard work will always pay off and bring accomplishment, which is a feeling I will never forget. I've had to constantly keep moving from house to house, each one getting smaller and more cramped. Leaving my friends behind, having to attempt at making new ones, which is not a easy task. It's better than having no house, I guess, but it's not a fun lifestyle. My current shoes are a old, cheap, worn out pair of some knock off of Nike sneakers. I've been wanting to buy new shoes for some time now, so I can walk along the wooded trails near my house and not keep getting painful blisters. This money would finally make it so I can purchase a new pair, one like the other kids wear at my school.
