Trying to install updates that i havent had before so i can grt windows 10 but they fail

It is a sign not to get windows 10, because it is pretty bad.

In this case you should download Microsofts media creation tool, it will download and install the update for you, I had to do this.

Have you tried editing your registry and adding a new registry value "AllowOSUpgrade" and set it to "1"?

That seems to have solved a lot of upgrading problems.

What Windows are you using?

Go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and delete everything from there and try to download again your updates (Control Panel).
