Hi guys

I run windows 8.1 and I accidentally refreshed my system (misleading name caused me to lose these files: http://pastebin.com/tCNhDxnC) Along with some windows features (power button in start menu, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows, autoexec.bat, and some others)

Can I recover these without reinstalling my OS? I still have some files I would like to keep. Must I make a backup? Thanks for any help.

Hey, did you get this fixed? Because your pastebin has been deleted.
Also, I'm not necessarily telling you to reinstall your OS, but rather to upgrade to Windows 10 maybe? If you don't want to, it's fine. But if you do, your files won't be deleted. Skype, Steam, and whatever program you have in your current OS will carry on if you upgrade.

If you don't want to upgrade, then I'll do my best to help you.
