Anyone know how or can link me to bypass windows 8 login while using Remote Desktop?
Logged on to a network server through RD and I am stuck at the Windows 8 login. It's ran through the network I am pretty sure, it doesn't verify on the computer itself but is sent to a different server. I can use a smart chip? And I am sure it uses Novell, unsure tho. If anyone has a link or tip to just cracking or bypassing through the login while using rd let me know.
idk, i never found a way but you can def do it if you believe in god

You can try to change accounts and choose local and then attempt to login to the Administrator account. Lots of the time it's just admin as the login name and admin as the password.

Read my lips: "THC-Hydra"
Or OphCrack, seeing as Windows 8 is still using LM/NTLM hashes

If you own a device running Kali Linux Nethunter you can use Konboot to bypass the login of Windows XP until 8.

You don't always need Kali.
The only way I know of is to use Kon-Boot but not sure how you're going to do that over RDP
I remeber i used to do a safe mode boot in Windows 7 then like get into the system files before the login and changed the sticky keys to command prompt. Through there I change there password. Does this still work on Windows 8 if anyone knows what Im talking about?

Boot into some linux dist, then go to his system32 and replace sethc.exe with a copy of cmd.exe, reboot into windows, now hit shift 5 times and you should be able to change his password via "net user USERNAME *"

This technique implies you can get into the system beforehand and leave this backdoor behind. This is not always possible, but it is a good technique to know.
