Thoughts on this laptop

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00T7XRGGC...eva_mobile#

What do you guys think of this laptop, practical use and gaming use?

Thanks
I think it'll be good for both of them.
You could get a much better custom built pc for that price though.

Have a nice day! 🤝
That's some horrible specs if you compare with what you could get from a desktop PC. I guess it's alright. I'd suggest you to do some more research though.
If you are looking for mainly a laptop yes its good but like the posts say above you can get an amazing desktop for that price
Get the G7! https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/G74SX/
Seems the heat will be a problem there. Trust me take a look at g750 models or something (maybe g7 is the same). You can have a GTX99999 but when heat cannot be expelled your whole system will run like shit. Think about it

Don't think about it

For that price, I think its a very good laptop. And spec wise you couldn't have asked for any better. Based on the reviews, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6834232405

There are some issues with it, but in overall the people that bought it, seem to be satisfied with it.
Why not go for desktop with this price?

You can get much better performance

That is fairly outdated in terms of CPU (Sandy Bridge 2630QM) and GPU (GTX 560M).

For those saying build a desktop instead of getting a laptop, have you ever thought about the fact that OP might prefer laptops over desktops, or go to school where a light laptop that can game and do what he needs to is a nice thing to have?

OP: That's a nice laptop. I might be purchasing one for myself either this year on next year :D
