I woke up today with my iPhone on 7%, later it turned off. Now, the iPhone won't turn on nor charge. Does anyone here have any suggestions to what I could try to fix it?
It won't connect to iTunes either.
Any suggestions welcome, thanks so much in advance! - Already tried:
- Hard reset (Holding power and home button)
- Cleaning dock connector
- Restore mode
But have you tried a different charger?

I have not. Sadly, I have no other charger to try atm. (I have ordered one, will get it tuesday)
The charger worked just fine yesterday, which is why I made this thread. I just wanted to know if anybody knew a fix for this.
It could be the charger, but keep the suggestions coming.

Firstly try this. If not, you may have to open up the phone and check if the battery is still connected to the board.

It is the charger, trust me. Those things die faster than my sex drive when I see an ugly chick.
Bad example.

Alright. Thanks for telling me. Sucks that I have to wait until tuesday :((
This might be a stupid question, is there anyway to check if the charger is working without another iPhone or iDevice?

Of course, just plug in on another iDevice that uses the same charger. Newer iPads, iPod 5 and newer, iPhone 6..
Is it weird that I licked the charger? It seemed to work..

If that worked then the problem is the charger. iPhone chargers can easily brake, especially the new chargers. The cord of the charger is what appears to be faulty.

So, because I could feel the charger had electricity on my tongue, it's broken?

Hmm, try and get a working charger first (just to be sure that nothing's wrong with it) use your friend's. Other than that it could be the iPhone's charging slot, or something that's stopping the iPhone from charging/turning on.

It's been plugged in for atleast 7+ hours. I sadly have no charger to borrow around here.
I usually buy a lot of chinese chargers for $1-$2.. They seems to last a couple of months. You can get around 5 chargers for only $10. I've never used an original Apple charger.

You never buy the chinese ones. They could burn your house down.
They are made cheap as fuck with virtually no guide lines & they use the cheapest material possible.
