Presented by me , the main objective of this tutorial is to prevent the leaking of eBooks. We all know that eBooks are one of the most prominent products in the Marketplace; even though most of them have provided false promises, there might be some that have true, actual and real working methods. Finding them is the first job for buyers, they often fall in the traps of those who buy stickies and try to get as many sales as possible; just to dump the project. Nevertheless, leaking of a product is leaking; regardless of whether it is a program, service or an eBook.
As stated, corruption runs within the blood of humans; so don't waste your time finding a "foolproof" way to prevent leaking - you simply won't get one. Even if you place a hardware lock on the PDF file, it would still be leaked since ideas and knowledge are free.
Lets move onto explaining the types of people who receive the eBook. This is very vital as these people end up to be the potential leakers.
- Past Owners
- Buyers
- Reviewers
- Targeted Leakers
- Crowd Leaks
- Other People
- Buyer/Reviewer Affiliations

1. Past Owners
Process: This usually occurs when members buy the eBooks in whole as ownership or resale rights bundles, allowing them to sell the eBook. This is very risky as the previous buyers, reviewers, owners and their friends might also hold copies of the same eBook.
Prevention: Unless you plan on updating one and continuing with its name, you should not take up any eBook ownerships. Stop selling eBooks just as a pump and dump scheme, try to include legitimate and real methods, tested by yourself and make your own eBook.

2. Buyers
Process: The buyers will only leak the eBook when they are pissed off over the fact that it is a public or saturated method; or if it doesn't simply work for them.
Prevention: Keep your content high quality and legit. Include unique, never seen before and unsaturated methods so that the customers will appreciate the effort put into the eBook for which they paid for. Another measure is using autobuy and linking them to a .txt with your contact details, so that you can watermark their PDF with their UIDs. You could either watermark the whole page (which prevents from leaking snippets of the method either.

3. Reviewers
Process: As you can see, on the sales threads, many people ask for vouch copies. These people end up being potential leakers since they have access to the material and content within the eBook package.
Prevention: Observe their profile before handing out a vouch copy - Do they sell an eBook themselves (competition)? Do they have any past history of leaking? Do they look trusted enough? Ask yourself these questions and in the end, after picking out the select people who would review your eBook; watermark the PDF with their Usernames/UIDs - either placing it in the header or footer (wouldn't be effective since screenshots can leak "parts" of the eBook) - or watermarking the whole page itself

4. Targeted Leakers
Process: These are the people who purchase the eBook with only one intent: leaking. This usually happens when you gain utmost exposure and purchase maximum advertisement for your product; bringing it into the spotlights of leakers. These may be multi-accounters, or people who don't actually care about their on-site status, and wouldn't be afraid of leaking it with the watermark included.
Prevention: Usually these people wouldn't spend much money since they are not at benefit considering the situation. People usually end up as "targeted leakers" if they hold a personal grudge against you, or if your prices are too low so that anyone can easily afford this to potentially destroy your sales. The only way to get around this is to specify a good price, which would imply it is a working method too as well as the fact that people wouldn't take up the expense for leaking as they wouldn't want to risk their money over a personal grudge anymore. Make sure to analyse their HackForums profile before giving out your eBook.

5. Crowd Leaks
Process: This is the most dangerous kind of leaking. This involves multiple people contributing towards a single objective; to leak a certain eBook. Since many people are involved in this endeavour, money is easily accumulated
Prevention: Again, the same adequate pricing method as well as being wary of customers. You should not accept payments from any random user; who might look suspicious. You must learn to refund people and not provide your eBook to them in such cases.

6. Other People
Process: This usually happens when the owner themselves give out the eBook to their friends, family, random people or others. This is very risky as the owner usually forgets or doesn't mind to watermark the eBook since he/she is doing this in a casual manner.
Prevention: Do not trust random people over the Internet with your product; do not fall for the basic Social Engineering (SE) methods that people will try to get your product for free. Also, make sure you watermark and keep records of each and every copy you give out in the form of vouch copies, free copies or paid copies.

7. Buyer/Reviewer Affiliations
Process: This includes casual sharing of the eBook amongst friends of the buyers or reviewers. Although this cannot be prevented and at the same time is a breach of trust, you can prevent it using some strict advice given to buyers and reviewers before receiving the copy.
Prevention: Make sure that you have watermarked the eBook and stated beforehand that sharing/distributing the eBook to anyone else would result in consequences; denial of support/service, community warnings, etc. Being a bit strict would prevent others from leaking your material.

Additional Tips
- Always make sure to watermark the every page with a light fade having the UID/username of the receiver.
- Simply adding the UID in the header/footer is not reliable as it can still be leaked in portions by taking screenshots of the main content
- Make sure to protect your PDF and do not allow any copying to external sources (eg. Ctrl+C should not take in any data from the eBook) - which can be adjusted using PDF settings
- Make sure of external software such as PrimoPDF to instantly convert .doc files into .pdf after watermarking each copy
- Password protect PDF files or RAR packages in each cost.
- Analyse the profiles of the buyers or reviewers before handing out copies
- Do not disable autobuy; you are risking most of your sales as a leak prevention tactic that would still not guarantee eradicating leaking possibitlies. Instead, include a text file with your contact details after purchase.

TL;DR - As stated, corruption runs within the blood of humans; so don't waste your time finding a "foolproof" way to prevent leaking - you simply won't get one. Even if you place a hardware lock on the PDF file, it would still be leaked since ideas and knowledge are free.
