I'm on Windows 10 and want to downgrade to Windows 7 but I don't have a USB/CD. I have the ISO for Windows 7 already downloaded, is this possible?
Is it possible to downgrade OS without external device? |

Yes it is possible.
1.) Create a partition on your drive 2.) Move the ISO to the partition 3.) Install EasyBCD 4.) In EasyBCD: Add New Entry > ISO > Select the ISO. Mode: Load from Memory (Less than 8GB of ram? Run from Disk) 5.) Reboot You should be greeted with a selection screen, choose the second option to boot to the ISO, follow the install procedure as you normally would. Don't delete the partition the ISO is contained on until you have installed Windows 7. (Oct 25, 2015 04:27 PM)SavageBoys Wrote: Yes it is possible. I've tried this and it says I'm in UEFI mode when I try use EasyBCD, and I can't be bothered going through the BIOS to change it. I'll just use a USB later. |
