Hi guys, new here, I saw you guys had a computer hardware section but I didn't quite know where to post this, my internal HDD failed on me and I have a 1tb external HDD. I have access to a mac right now and I have Windows 10.ISO loaded onto a 1tb external HDD. But whenever I try to boot up with this device it gives me the error.
"No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key"
As you all can probably assume pressing any key doesn't do the trick and I am stuck here. I am thinking it might be the way the external is formatted but I am used to windows and I don't know how to check the format of my external/how to change the format on a mac. Am I right with assuming the format is the issue? Thank you for any help!
If I could get some help with this I would be greatly appreciated, I'm using a friends mac trying to figure this out.
