Do you mean 4690k vs 6600k? Because you can't overclock a 4690 non-K model.

If you have the money, then go for the 6600k(that includes the new motherboard chipsets and DDR4 RAMs). The 4690k is still a really great CPU to have.

i5 6600k
Pros: Better iGPU performance, 5-10% performance increase over the 4690K (which imho is not worth the extra cost for DDR4)
Cons: Higher cost for DDR4 Ram, Higher TDP

i5 4690k
Pros: Higher OC, Lower TDP
Cons: Older iGPU.

I believe 6600k is only 20$ more than the 4690k model.

I'd go with the 6600k.

Well you can't overclock the 4690... so 6600k.
