Jim entered the room. It was dark and mysterious, however there was a single beam of light that seeped through a crack in the wall. "Pow Pow Moey" yelled the cat. "Chow chow pang doey spoey" said Jim. Jim and the cat seemed to have some kind of magical connection that no other could poses, it was fantastic.

THE HOUSE ATOP THE HILL

It was a warm, but dark winter night, the wind was howling a low gruesome moan, as if it was a ghost and there was an unexplained sense of danger in the atmosphere.

Neo, and two of his closes friends Todd and Weasel who also attended Furry High had made a bet that they could spend one night in the house atop the hill in their neighborhood. Many stories of the house being the location of numerous murders had been shared among the halls of Furry High, and Weasel being himself, accepted a bet to stay there overnight by his crush Sally, one of the evil spawn in the cheer-leading squad; if he was successful, she would give him a kiss.

They all tell their parents that they are all sleeping over at each-others houses so their parents don't suspect their absence. They gather the belongings and any food they may need for the night then they all head out to meet at the town hall. Neo looks at the clock and notices the time. "Crap! it's almost midnight" he says to himself as he walks at a very fast pace towards the town hall.

Once they all arrive, they all try to reassure one another that it is the right choice. "Are you sure we should be doing this?" said Todd, "Of-course! it's the only way I can get Sally to notice me..." said Weasel. "Well, you both make a good point, but I'm with Todd on this one. It doesn't feel safe." said Neo. "Well I don't care! I'll do this alone if I have to!" said Weasel as he stormed off towards the gated entrance of the house atop the hill.

"WAIT!" shouted Neo, "I'll come with you!" he said as he jogged after Weasel. Todd stands where he is, with a confused look on his face, before realizing he won't be able to go home even if he tried; he followed behind them and said "Guys! wait for me! I can't leave you lot to do this alone."

Weasel, Neo and Todd had arrived at the front door of the house atop the hill after climbing up the hill for almost half an hour. "Oh my god, I'm so tired! did anybody bring water? my bag was too full." said Weasel, "I think I have some in my bag, but you guys seriously need to hit the gym, I basically carried you two up here!" said Neo, as he gave his water to Weasel. "Thank you so much! I could bloody kiss you right now!" Weasel said to Neo as he moved towards him, "No! that isn't necessary... Or maybe a lit... nevermind" said Neo with a sense of confusion and embarrassment.

Without Neo and Weasel realizing, Todd had already opened the door and walked into the doorway of the house, they heard the floor boards creek with every step Todd took which gained their attention, as they soon followed him inside with an unsure, frightened look on their face. Neo and Weasel looked at eachother, "You go first?" said Neo, "Fine, scaredy-cat" said Weasel as he began walking in with an odd smile on his face. "BOO!" shouted Neo. "OH MY FUCK! what is wrong with you!?" screamed Weasel in shock.

Todd, Weasel and Neo were becoming scared, as they walked blindlessly around the room in the dark, until Neo found the light switch, and pulled it, lighting up the room.
