Long story short, ive been trying to port forward for the last 2 hours.

I came across a thread here on HF, and the OP mentioned that if the port forwarding could be done using uTorrent.

I am running Linux OS, so i am using deluge as uTorrent,

After setting up using deluge, I have finally SUCCESSFULLY port forwarded.

My question is is there any safty risk taken here by using deluge or [uTorrent] to set up the port forward?
-can it be traced?

anybody have experience on port forwading Verizon router? its a GT784WNV router
