[Aura]

The Japanese government was rescued from the brink of financial collapse by the Sovereign Wealth Fund. For its citizens, however, life has not improved and unemployment, crime, suicide, and despair are rampant. Kimimaro, raised by his maternal aunt after the disappearance of his father and the death of his mother, is a scholarship student whose only dream is to live a stable, ordinary life. One day he meets a man who offers him a large sum of money if he will allow his "future" to be held as collateral. From then on his fate is radically altered as he's drawn into a mysterious realm known as the Financial District, where he must compete in weekly tournaments called "deals" in order to keep his money and avoid losing his future.

Just started it, currently on the 3rd episode. The animation used isn't that appealing to me, but the concept is interesting so I'm going to give it a go. Plus, it's ranked #273 on MAL Popularity list so I guess it can't be that bad.

I disagree with the niggas above, I thought it was absolutely fantastic, I mean besides the... oh wait that's a spoiler.

As someone who has seen a fair bit, little details make me insanely happy and this anime was truly refreshing in that aspect, for example: him giving her ramen.

I heard about this anime but never got into it just based on how the categories I watch are mostly like romance, high school, and philosophical / psychological. Don't like that gambling shit

If the story was longer and more in depth it could have been an amazing interesting anime. I liked it, but I felt it was super rushed.
