Synopsis:

Based on the fantasy novel series written by
Uehashi Nahoko.
Kemono no Souja Erin is about a young woman who is drawn into a war between kingdoms. 10-year-old Erin is a young girl who lives with her mother in the Tai Koh Region in the small Village of Ake. She has a big love for animals, especially the Touda, dragon-like creatures used in the war. Her mother Soyon was originally of the Mist People, an ancient clan who have members with green hair and eyes, and is rumored to follow in the ancient ways, practice magic, and hide in the mist. But despite her genealogy, they stay in the village because Erin's late father was the son of the village chief and Soyon is the head Touda doctor. One day however a tragedy happens which changes Erin's life forever.

Just started watching the series; a few episodes in and I have to say it is REALLY good especially for a series that is basically rated PG(family-friendly); it is very entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone. Has anyone else watched it?

Also really depends on your computer tbh as i'm not really experiencing lag and i'm using 50-100% CPU and other reasources constantly via Plex in order to cache my media; generate thumbnails etc has been going on for a few days now. And using all my network resources else where atm; luckily as i'm using linux system doesn't lock up or anything no issues like lag under heavily load.

Has 50 episodes ; rated 8.5 out of 10 on myanimelist and suprisingly ranked 109 on MAL which is real suprising as usually nothing but really popular stuff and over rated stuff or stuff you hear about all the time gets ranked high while shows you haven't heared about aren't in the rankings unless in the like quad digits

and i guess i was wrong and possibly thinking about a different anime; it is rated PG-13 so it has the potential for some violence and themes etc hopefully (i have only watched a few episodes so far as i said) and love it; There is a similar show that is made by studio ghibli but i haven't picked it up as it's rated G; it is the only actual TV show ghibli has produced.

Sanzoku no Musume Ronja ; also the fact that i believe it is all CG turned me off :( eek. Glad i found this show though.

Sounds interesting enough to give it a go, I'll add it to my personal list of anime to watch and will get to it eventually :3

Yeah i'm on episode 15 now it's still good gonna finish the whole thing it's got a lot of great aspects like tragedy, Drama , fantasy, tons of adventure etc.

Just finished ep 32, so almost done, its been a pretty interesting anime so far, I like how it blends in an innocent vibe yet still manages to sneak in the dark undertones. My only complaints so far is that they put in 2 filler episodes which didn't add anything to the actual plot except for the last 2ish min of each ep.

Damn your quick! we are around the same point ATM; i'm around finishing up to i'm at 32-37ish can't remember have been watching it everyday; but have also been busy renaming my library and stuff lol. I really like it; and yeah as for the filler episodes i basically skipped them as i knew they were fillers; my media server lists a synopsis of each episode and before watching it it said : a recap episode; so the second recap episode i just watched the last 4 minutes as there was a little bit of real content (time skip)

It's a real warm hearted adventerous anime; like more adventourous than many others imo
