Hello, Im at school and would like to use ettercap on kalilinux... unfortunately, i have no clue how to utilize this tool. I have over 2000 hosts on my host list after scan. What can i do? My main goal would be to do some arp poisoning and sniffing

Do you think it's impossible for your school to have 2000 devices?
In the past i have tried several times to sniff some data at school, but they ran a port scan blocker which displayed all possible ip's from the DHCP pool as an active host. So it could be a port scan block...

Anyway, you could also try to sniff ALL of them. if there are really 2000 devices you are slowing the internet down like crap, because everything goes through you, lol. Do you also need an basic tutorial on sniffing with ettercap?

Have a look at mitmproxy & mitmf, this will allow you to modify traffic at the same time as well as backdoor exe's downloaded over the net.

Well one, I wouldnt ARP poison anything on your schools network, easy for you to get boned.
