50 Pound Credit - Virgin Media Account (UK)

My Phone Tv and Internet come to roughly £58 and This gets me £50 a month putting my bill to £8 a month lol.

LIMITED TO 5 TIMES PER MONTH! (I've hit this before)

It's basically a referral system that some departments have the power to do.

How it works.

You need to email this member of staff with the following and you will receive £50 credit on your account and the person you refer will ALSO get £50 credit on their account. WARNING ITS LIMITED TO 5 Referrals a month! (I hit it last month)

Email [email protected]

Subject - £50 Referral deal

Message must include YOUR account number or he will not know how to add the £50 to your account.. Then give some basic information about the person you are referring to virgin media (Can be just the phone or just the internet or just the tv) or all 3 etc.. But you do not need to take all 3. Give infomation like the persons name and phone number thats all I normally give.

Thanks for this, so the people you refer have to be active VM/Willing to pay for VM?

Do you think this would have a higher success rate if you offered the person you're referring like £10-25.

Obviously try without offering the £10-£25, but if it came to the last resort.

They are getting £50 already anyway from the referral programme deal.
I'd advise against also then giving them additional cash.
I guess mathematically you would be better off but fuck if they don't want £50, another £10-£25 probably isn't going to make the deal, imo.

I've had ONE person (refered a good 20 people over the year now) that I offered £15 when we were on the drink as a closing deal lol. But I very rarely offer them cash on top they are already getting £50 off their first bill which is a win win for them already as you said also most people wont budge if they already said no to £50 free. The main thing I explain is the difference in internet Virgin has as apposed to other "fiber" companys who actually use copper wire half the way to the door giving slow speed.

Another point, I use facebook to find people aswell find out if anyone wants virgin or wants to swap from another service

You can have FTTC and FTTP, which I'm not sure how clued up you are on that whole thing but BT for example, FTTC is fiber from exchange to cabinet, and copper the rest, it IS faster than regular ADSL broadband but of course the copper is a bottleneck. Then you have FTTP, which is fiber from exchange to a special cabinet (usually next to the original cabinet) and then from the cabinet through various distribution points to the property. Even still - wiring in the property will be copper usually so bottleneck again.

FTTC and FTTP are both being rolled out fairly quickly, but at some point leased lines will be the new thing, even for residential properties, I'd say.

In a world where you need certain speeds now for your tv data only, bigger and better quality images need bigger and better lines so demand will continue to rise. :)
Just got myself another referral today :) Going to upgrade my package to Big kahuna as I've got loads of credit on my account at the moment
