This recruitment for all people who play CS:GO, whether you are a casual player or a very competitive player. This sector will consist of discussions, events, friendly matches, and more. I'll be the one handling the events and and such, so if anyone has any questions regarding the sector feel free to shoot me a PM. I'm not looking for the most skilled players in the world, new players and veterans are welcome. I'm just looking for people that are dedicated and passionate about the game.
Requirements
Be willing to have a good time.
No open or unresolved scam reports.
Must follow Synergy's handbook/rules.
Must be member of Hack Forums for at least a month.
Must not have a bad reputation within the Hack Forums community.
Have time to set aside for group events and activities such as friendly 10-mans and such.
Be respectful and mature around other members of the group, this includes the sector and the whole group.
A little side note, I ask personally that you do not cheat when it comes to events and activities within the group. This ruins the fun for other members trying to play legitimately and can ultimately result in consequences such as being banned from playing in these events and activities.
Buy-in members and invited members are required to follow the rules at all times. Members can be subjected to instant removal if caught breaching the rules, regardless of type of entry into the group. spacer
Show respect towards each and every member in the group. Any form of harassing, threatening, insulting or harming other members will result in an immediate kick from the group. Joking is allowed, but within a limit that should be known by all members. spacer
Being rude or ignorant to the group leaders will result in an instant kick from the group. This rule is an extension to rule #1, but deserves a spot of its own just to serve as a warning to all applicants. spacer
By becoming a member of Synergy, you are officially representing the group as a member. Any posts/threads made outside the group sub-forum reflects the group, and should be done with an acceptable amount of quality. If the leaders feel that your posting quality is not on par with the group's standards, you will be kicked without further notification. spacer
Failure to post in an Activity Check Thread will result in your immediate removal from the group. Exceptions are only accepted if informed in the Inactivity Thread before an Activity Check is conducted. Though, members will still be removed if they inform their status in the Inactivity Thread DURING an Activity Check. spacer
We require all members to post 10 times a week and 1 thread per month, as a minimum requirements. Failure to abide will result in an immediate removal from the group. spacer
If you break any rules or you did not participate in any activity check, we will let you off with a warning the first time, the 2nd time you will be removed from the group, no excuses or exceptions
Application
There's no application format to follow I just ask you tell us a bit about yourself, your background playing CS:GO or CS in general, and what you can bring to the sector.
In addition, feel free to link your Steam, ESEA, FaceIT, etc. profiles if you have them.
I'm looking forward to seeing what people come up with and best of luck to you all!

This Discord is public so feel free to join even if you're not in the group.
We use Discord for most of our events and such, so be sure you have it if you don't already.
Recruitment FAQ I see that you've accepted some applicants, am I denied?
No. You'll know when the thread is closed.
If I am accepted how will I know?
You'll receive a PM from me.
Why wasn't I accepted and can I be accepted in the future?
We look through people's profiles thoroughly before deciding on whether or not you're accepted. I cannot state the exact reason why a person was not accepted. We highly recommend you have 2FA/Gauth enabled and no scam reports open on you. Those are the main reasons people may not get accepted. Again we cannot state why you weren't accepted. You may be eligible for acceptance later if your trust scan looks cleaner than last time (assuming that's the reason you were denied beforehand).
Why do you want to be a member: Because I like csgo and was already a fucking member of the original group until cryptic the fucking backstabbing traitor that he is kicked me and turn one of the oldest groups on HF into a shitty gaming group. Are you salty?: Yes, super fucking salty.
Everybody knows all good csgo players are salty, which means I'm a good player, which means I should be accepted.

I'm going to get right to the point.
I've been playing CS:GO for 2 years now. I'm currently Gold Nova 3.
I'm trying hard to climb back up to LEM because I stopped playing for a good 6 months.
I'm nothing special like a global elite or anything.
I also just recently started to play Faceit & Cevo.
If you would like a person that's down to have some fun and willing to play any time then I would be your best applicant.
Also I get really heated when people do something wrong so just warning you that I can get "salty" really fast.
Information:

CSGO Background:
I've been playing competitive CSGO for almost 2 years now. I started out in silver 3 playing a lot of matchmaking with some friends I knew from other games. After a few months of that I joined ESEA. I shouldn't have joined at the time, I was not very good. Well, here we are, a few years later and I'm competing in various leagues, better than most players, and getting better everyday. I play all the time, whether it's just going in an offline match and dming or playing a pug.
If you need to know anymore information, just let me know.
I will message you my steam/esea profile.
Why I would like to join Synergy?
As with every group or community I join, it's always nice to meet new people who are apart of the group. Also, all I do in my free time is play csgo, so I feel I would make a great fit in this group. I am also interested in the discussions and group events that be will going on. As I do have a team I have to focus on I will definitely put time aside for the group, so I am able to play in the 10 mans and events.

Alias:
I go by Inno on Steam and Ongoing on HF and on Twitch.
Age:
I'm currently 21 years old.
Location:
I live in Ontario, Canada so I'm one of the east coast players.
Experience:
I started playing CSGO in October of 2015. I started off with surfing, even took it as far as starting my own surf server which I have shared here in the past but unfortunately I had to close the server. My first placement rank was actually MGE but I never played that much so I wasn't able to maintain the rank that I was placed in. Started playing with players that weren't as good as I was so I deranked to GN1. I made another account to see where I would be placed as I thought I fucked my ELO up so I figured it would be easier for me to start over and I ended up getting placed MGE again and got all the way up to LEM and deranked to LE and so forth because of spinbotters and rage hackers that were SMFC - GE. Got tired of playing non-prime so I switched to my main once again and I'm currently LE. I've played a little CEVO and my currenty EFF is about 14. I have CEVO MVP and I've only played pugs but I've been asked to play scrims with teams and I've been invited to a team but I declined because I wanted to focus on getting GE before I considered anything competitive like that.
Why I want to join:
Because I actually wanted to help lead the gaming sector but I never received a PM from Cryptic so I'd at least like to be able to join the group and be able to play with other CSGO players or people that share the same interests as I do.

Players of all skill levels will be taken into consideration, so as long as you're dedicated and willing to participate in the group you'll have a good chance at being accepted.
