Trade/Sell/Purchase Of Netflix Should Not Be Allowed[New Federal Crime Policy]

Hello everyone ,
I have seen many members on HF selling netflix accounts . I just read this news :
http://fortune.com/2016/07/10/sharing-ne...trepreneur

According to that Sharing of Netflix password is now a Federal Crime . Since HF does not endorse any blackhat activity , shouldn't this be disallowed from marketplace ?

Since its a Federal crime , so like Paypal, trade of Netflix should be disallowed from marketplace too.
Totally up to Omni to make that call.
I doubt this law will be enforced though.
Yea lets start limiting what we can do here even more over a loosely worded article mentioning Netflix like twice.
If you actually read the article its about someone sharing a company account with a similar business to steal information.
Not about sharing netflix accounts, the headline is to grab attention.
I mean selling stolen accounts is basically illegal in the first place lmao

But Paypal has same policy, sharing/selling/purchasing PP accounts are federal crime too and because of that its disallowed on HF, and if the news is true about netflix, It will be interesting to see if new HF policy will be made for netflix business or no .
there are numerous things not allowed, in all honesty you can always avoid this by using a proxy/proxy which I do regardless to view the American Netflix

Same as piracy, we all do it. nobody is going to pretend to buy a large sum of money to access it, and they won't go after you if you're a broker.
instead they go after large companies who may be in need of this, and do infact no have legal licensing for their product.

so you should be fine.

oh god shut up, every account on the marketplace is either

1. hacked

2. generated via credit card fraud

I don't know why Omni doesn't just turn HF into a blackhat forum (well HF is just a marketplace now)

It would be so much more profitable (obviously not a full out carding site that would be plain stupid)

PayPal is used for sending and receiving of money.
Netflix is to watch movies.

There has been no problem with Netflix accounts so far, and this article despite the click bait title has nothing to do with Netflix accounts become a huge worry.

But netflix accounts also include financial transaction ( ofcourse for watching movies) . I am not sure though since my location is not USA :P
Interesting article. NFA already took some hits with the minimum price thing & generator ban.

Let's see what Omni calls on this.
Quote:The decision came in the case of David Nosal, an employee at the executive search (or headhunter) firm Korn/Ferry International. Nosal left the firm in 2004 after being denied a promotion. Though he stayed on for a year as a contractor, he was simultaneously preparing to launch a competing search firm, along with several co-conspirators. Though all of their computer access was revoked, they continued to access a Korn/Ferry candidate database, known as Searcher, using the login credentials of Nosal’s former assistant, who was still with the firm.

The decision was unrelated to Netflix.
