Alright Gladly, redpill me. Despite the poor rankings on MAL, is that show worth watching? The ennemy in the serie are other humans, the Mechas don't seem overpowered and realistic (so they fight with guns, hide themself, etc.), and it seems to be about conventional warfare. Should I watch it?

Looks like a generic mecha with generic characters from what I got out of reading most of those reviews, so I assume its an average anime but idk if I'd watch it just yet.

Go watch NGE or Gundam then since you said you haven't really seen any of the older mechs yet :P
But this is still an average anime so doesn't necessarily mean its bad, I think I'll add it to my PTW for now.

Bruh Gundam is where it's at. There are so many Gundam series you can choose from. Like the whole Gundam franchise is my favorite in the mecha category. And you don't necessarily have to start on the older series to understand it since there are several different universes.
You could also try Eureka Seven, Soukyuu no Fafner, Macross, and Zoids. They're all pretty great as well imo.

Senpai, I'm almost done watching it and it's kinda generic. Though it had it's good moments. I enjoyed the fact that it was not a "super-mecha" show, so no flying, units gets destroyed realistically, etc.
