Community College vs Private

Will you be going to a community college, private university, or both? I personally started in a private uni, but I am going back to college to change careers now... I will be starting off in a community college so that I can reduce the costs. I already did the whole 4 year university thing, so I feel like I'll be okay if my newest degree starts with community college. I will do community for 2 years max and then transfer to a 4 year uni. I would probably do a Masters after that at a private uni.

I've always been told that it looks the same, whether you went to CC then tranfered, or went straight to university...

The main difference is that some private universities have alumni lists to trump them all. I went to SMU in Texas and their alumni program is insane, so a lot of grads get jobs easily. Besides alumni, I don't believe the school matters as much. cost is definitely drastically different. SMU: 50k+/year. Community college: $4k/yr - you can see why I chose to do community for 2 years this time I go lol.
If cost is a concern, community college is excellent. My local community college's classes are actually of very high quality for everything excluding Comp Sci. If it isn't a concern, the education in general at a private uni is much better.
i will go to community for 2 years, and then xfer to any state school with a 100% acceptance rate, and finish my 2 years there.

i plan on taking more AP's to get college credit though so my 2 years at community could be shortened to 1.5 or even just 1 year.

after school i will enlist in the army and go for ranger assessment and selection and from there i will serve 3 years+, then get to SFAS and get my green beret

after the army i can work with/under my dad at his company or go into business alone or with my brother.

The only caveat to community college is that if you go you have to make sure that firstly the classes you take will transfer to the college you plan on going to, and secondly that you do well enough in community college to successfully transfer.
I'd be rich if I had a dollar for every person I've met who said they were going to transfer from cc to a full university and then never did and ended up working at McDonalds in their home town...
Private for ever. Unless it's a top tier state school.
