Piss off. Sorry to be rude but... It should be our own choice. Call me lazy but I don't want to open a new page or check my phone (and have to bloody charge it) every time I want to use Hackforums. If I hate signing up on sites that ask you to write your password more than once, I'm sure others do too. Sure some people find it secure but if you take the right steps to keep secure, you'll be good. More problems occur with 2fa than they do with accounts being compromised here.
"I lost my 2fa device"
"how do i log back on i lost 2fa"
How often do you see I was hacked? With the minimum password requirements, someone who knows how not to get infected should be good. Take this example:
Another site forced 2FA on all users. They lost 8% of their mebers that week as most couldn't use anything that allowed them to use 2FA, and the other ones didn't like the fact that they were being forced into something they didn't want to do. The site lost members, revenue & stuff for a short while until they reverted the change.
