I have tons of street smarts about programming (the result of the "trial and error" method of learning programming), but I'm not very book smart about programming (the result of spending hours reading books about programming but doing very little actual programming).
Because of this it's easy for me to get caught up in technical jargon that makes perfect sense when utilized in code but when verbalized I'd be like "the fuck"?
Anyway, I've actually interviewed with this company before in person 1 year ago. I sent them an updated resume over email and he wants to call me now. Can't tell if it's bad or good that I didn't even get an in-person interview this time cause I did last time. Could be him just checking up on my skills cause last time he said that I did a very good job in the interview and I seemed like a good guy, but I just didn't have enough experience.
We'll see here soon!
Also if you have any tips let me know.
