So where to i begin.

Ever since I was 14 (turning 19 october 15th) I wanted this tribal tattoo. My parents hate tattoos, although my father has one, and do not want me to get one.

My dads reason is because my mom will be bitching, and make pretty much make the whole house hold a living hell. He is saying he will let me get it done + convince my mom if i get my masters degree. Thing is, I am 18, finishing my bachelors degree this December and really do not want to go through applying for masters programs, since I have a career already lined up.

My mom does not want me to get it because she is a very unreasonable person. She makes me feel guilty for even wanting one. She went to church and was praying that i would stop asking to get one.

I have a decent paying job (could move out if I wanted), and I of course would be paying for the tattoo myself. What should i do HF?

Where would you be getting the tattoo? Would it be visible? My little brother got one and it's on his chest so my parents never found out about it. I have a visible one and my parents didn't care

tribal tattoos are the most cliche, gay, and cringy things you can get other than a faze logo
please for your own good dont get a tribal tattoo, i have a half sleeve starting on my left hand to my left elbow atm. my parents didnt care at all. My dad has a full body suit front and back, sleeves, and is working on his legs right now. my mom has a sleeve on her left arm. and a few on her legs and one on her collarbone so they didnt mind when i got mine.

My advice is just to go for it. It seems like your living with your parents still so keep in mind they have the right to kick you out so do it at your own risk.
Btw op don't get a tribal tattoo get something with meaning.
