Advice Needed

I don't do currency exchanges on HF, don't PM me or other users randomly.

So I actually get these PMs all the time but it's random users - usually l33t and sometimes ub3r with fucked trust scans, all asking if I can do pp for my btc.

Yall reading this know who you are. Don't worry, not pointing fingers.

I don't appreciate it, I don't reply half the time - you all say "you could just reply no" but honestly I think it's disrespectful you even PM me that shit.
I don't appreciate it, other users don't appreciate it and honestly it makes you look like a scammer.

Anyone else agree? I know i'm not the only one who gets these.

DO NOT TRUST ME - Do not PM me saying you will go first with bitcoin, do not PM me with some skype to add you on for a CE. Anyone could add you and scam you. I am not trustworthy.
I have made 0 currency exchanges on Hackforums and I will keep it that way.
Never received a PM randomly for currency exchanges.
Weird
I have received maybe 1-2 PM's randomly asking for currency exchanges, but it's so rare that I really don't see it as a problem.

Drink all the booze, hack all the things.
hackirc.net
Plex. That is all.

Yup, been and still am there. I do have a little exchange thread that I open every now and then, but I clearly stated there that I'm not a full-time exchanger. Mainly because all of the messages I've been getting. I still get some every few days, but I either ignore it or politely decline.

It's a few seconds of inconvenience, I don't mind it that much.

I wake up with at least 1-4 every day.

It can get frustrating. A user just PMd me one before and I decided to reply because he sent it 3 times over 12 hours. I replied "I don't do CE" and he replied
Quote:Yeah, you could have also told me that when I sent you the first PM :/
Anyways, I got scammed so yeah thanks anyway

I'm sitting here like, that feels like you're tryna blame me ?
If you really can not stand it, then put it in your signature?

I don't think I should need too ?
I don't get why unless they're an active currency exchanger or have been in the past you would pm someone trying to get an exchange done. Wouldn't you just post that you have PayPal and want bitcoin in the exchange section? Less likely to get scammed from someone who does exchanges all the time than messaging random people to see if they will exchange.

That's what one would think. I just prefer not being involved in the marketplace however I don't feel I should be forced to put as my signature

"I don't = CE, skype, ebook"
Nah you shouldn't have to...common sense just isn't as common anymore and people do really stupid things more often these days.
I have received worse just by posting in threads.
I guess it would be much more harder on you considering you're pretty well known across the forum.. :/ I get a couple pm's every now and again asking for BTC quickly and all this bullshit.. Ghost who went on a scamming spree, messaged me saying he needed $400 BTC.. luckily I'm cautious..
All deals and exchanges are to be done via HF PM. Unless stated otherwise via a PM, I do not use skype or any other communication services.

And why put me on your ignore for a joke? It was an open goal and I scored 😏

Half of Hf is on my ignore list. People I expect to get PMs from that I don't wish to receive, and users who I know will never PM me for anything they legitimately need help with.
I can somewhat understand it seems how you are a trusted member, and some people might not want to risk it with someone else. At the same time, there plenty of reputable members in the CE subforum. Unless you open a CE service, it's kind of strange for someone to randomly PM you.

I want users to not trust me, I don't touch the CE section besides when gifting some BTC to people. It's shocking to see how many people also are happy to PM me and say they will go first with bitcoin because I am trusted -
Get it through your heads please guys, I am not trusted. I have never done a CE on Hackforums - not once.
