Airdroid
Found this amazing application. It allows you to do some fairly cool things, like send notifications to your computer when they come in. For example, you get a text and you get a pop up on your computer and a reply button so you can easily reply.
I am not paid to talk about this app, just found it and love it as it's so useful.

Works on mac and windows.
Some of the great features i've noticed :
- View notifcations/ get them live on your computer
- Intruder mode : when screen lock is failed, a picture of the person is sent to you
- Built in anti-virus
- Built in device manager ( Locate,Sound,Lock )
- Manage and remove apps quickly within application
- Record screen from the app
- Back up phone using app
- Transfer files too or from device to computer
- Air mirror ( basically like teamviewer on your device, control phone with computer, needs root to work well, can be done without root on some devices)
- Probably more, things are added all the time.
