Wanting to start a new series, thought why not Clannad but i just saw it got like 50 episodes

Anyone on here watched it? Is it worth it?

The first season (is it season?) is hard to finish. It's not bad but... meh, goodish. Clannad: After Story however, ohhh... that's where the real thing starts.
Took me a while to finish the first Clannad but I'm damn glad I did. Once I started and finished watching After Story (the second and final season), I was left speechless. Quite a masterpiece in my opinion.
Give it a try. It's a great series overall if you can get past the first half of it. The soundtrack is awesome as well.
