The fact that he's pushing 5k with 8 bots is quite low when I can easily push 8k-15k(now) with only 1 bot.

It does still depend on the bots. And your bot had an upload speed of 20 Mbit/s which is actually quite good. Test your bot on like 5 indian bots and you'll see that you will not even reach 5k r/s. Here's a nice overview of India's connections: http://testmy.net/country/in
In fact it's true that a lot depends on how the botnet was written. But you can't just say that all depends on it. If you have a bot that has an upload speed of like 0.5 Mbit/s are you then still able to push 5k r/s with this bot only? You're obviously not.

My bot performs an upload test when it first connects to the IRC. It moves itself to a different channel if it has upload speed < 10Mbps.
Guess how many bots are in there? It's less then a 3 digit number. And I never hit with them.

The fact that he's showing off his bot with 8 bots that have a 200kbps upload speed and performing a test for the audience for them to see the "power" or "performance" of the bot is sad.

I don't doubt that his bot is shit (Well the cookie handling is an improvment over basically everything else), but if the connection of the infected PC is shitty it simply does not matter how "good" your code is. You can try to push as hard as you want, the hose simply does not allow for more water to go through -- same principle as here.

I'm arguing at the fact that he wants $250 for what he showed us is a "shitty bot".
He could at least infect some HQ bots and made a test then. No one is going to buy his bot if the presentation is poorly presented.
