Hackintosh

Upgrading to Sierra from El Capitan

Hey guys,

I have a hackintosh El Capitan. I'm wanting to update to Sierra but I was wondering if i could just install it from the App Store rather than re-do the whole hackintosh process?

The only issue i had when hackintoshing my computer was that the RAM wasn't recognised until i added it to config.plist. After that, it was a breeze.

Would i need to do a full install again or can i just do it from the app store?

Cheers.

[EDIT]

Solved this. For those wondering, you can update as normal. Just make sure you update to the newest clover version and then once Sierra asks you to restart, when the clover menu pops back up, select "boot macOS Sierra" to finish installation.

I only had one issue throughout which is still current and that is my computer wont enter sleep/restart or shutdown when i click the button to do so. Can't seem to find the solution yet.

P.S: If you use the Nvidia graphics, and use boot flag to run Nvidia, this has changed. You can search Google for the answer.
