I haven't been on hf much but I'm seeing this new award called "Lucky Post"

Heaps of people have it and i cant find any consistencies with why they got it. Is it literally just a random award or? Just curious, lol.

You have to post "HQ" posts, aka posts over 100 char and then you have a chance of getting it.

It's the clover award and you're able to get it by posting a post with 100 characters or more, but since there are lots of users who do this every 100 character post you make enters you into a draw to win the award.

I heard you can actually just quote people and it will count.

Not sure if that works or not.
But yeah that's pretty much how you get it.

Green Clover - 1 in 2000
Purple Clover - 1 in 12,500
Gold Clover - 1 in 50,000

No, didn't really mean HQ as in high quality, more like you have to put a little more time into your posts lol. My bad should've worded it better.

I got my lucky post award thanks to defending myself at a thread for "leaking" personal information.
The user who created the main thread was accusing me of leaking personal information after attempting to scam me, which I defend myself against because OP was just being a sketchy scammer... and I got rewarded for with a lucky award 😏

As far as my concern (what I remember) is that you have to have at least ... words (characters) at a post + being lucky.
Short posts don't count.

All you need to know op is that these are your odds. You randomly get it by posting a 100+ character post. Also every time you post and don't it, your odds kind of reset if that makes sense. It's not the 2000th post on HF, but you have 1 in 2,000 everytime you post lol.

well what you typed isn't 100 characters is it? Quoting posts only gives you like 2 characters which isn't really much tbh.
