Giving RAT related support for over half a year now there is 1 thing that returns. Over and over.
"My damn stub doesn't fucking work when I run it!!!!!"
You RAT developers, inside of the builder have a little '?' or whatever you want it to be. (make sure it grabs the users attention) It'll be a small guide on what to do in what situation. (Maybe call it builder help?)
When they click on it they are greeted with a small little popup. It'll help SOOOOO much. Find an example below.
1) User opens builder
2) '?' is drawing his attention so he clicks on it
3) Popup that looks like this shows up. (just an example you can modify this however you want)
A big part of this is copied straight from my guide but you get the point. (Probably want to modify this to also include what to do when using a VPN)
Hello (username) and thank you for purchasing (RAT).
Below you can find a guide on what IP to use in what situation. It is very important to use the correct one or you will be looking for issues that are not actually there.
Where am I testing my stub?
1) On the same computer you're running your RAT on.
2) On a VM on the same computer that you're running your RAT.
3) A different computer in the same network.
4) An outside computer outside of your network.
What IP do I need for that?
1) SAME COMPUTER = localhost or 127.0.0.1
2) VM SAME COMPUTER = Your IPv4 or when using a VPN your public IP (found at canyouseeme.org)
3) Different computer same network = Your IPv4 or when using a VPN your public IP (found at canyouseeme.org)
4) Computer outside of your network = Your public IP found at canyouseeme.org or your DNS.
Couple of examples.
1) Testing on my own computer --> https://gyazo.com/26352d88a01457884aa949c5a32949e6
2) Testing on my own VM (no VPN) --> https://gyazo.com/6b9590b953c96285083efb9894c1aea2
3) Testing outside of network --> https://gyazo.com/2f3586ac057ed84882e55c3e2681d07c
Bad enough there is so many skids using and saturating good tools you want to make it easier for them? I'm not sure if i would like to see that. Usually all the info is provided by the owner and there are help threads.

I'll include this in the next version. Cheers.
Edit: although everything in the builder has tooltips and some explanations but I'll add something thorough like this eitherway. :)

Next update to LuminosityLink is designed to purely focus on improving user experience and support, including things such as this. Nice suggestion.

NanoCore already has this, just no way to view it. I might add a button for it, but meh.

Wouldnt it be easier if you would make the help button link to your guide post on hf instead?
NanoCore will give some useful information like this when building clients, I guess I'll also add a little info box for it.
Thank you for this, didnt think of it but will add this to my rat now!

Good idea in general bro. I do agree with Malicious Intent to a degree that users should have a basic understanding of how such software works before they start using RAT's.
However, some kind of setup guide, tutorial or information balloons seem like a solid addition. The RAT Devs seem to agree or are already implementing it. Nice.

Its not a bad suggestion, but lets be realistic, majority of the time a users binary is not working it is because they are not networking it correctly or have not disabled firewalls etc.
I doubt this would limit the amount of people having binary problems.
End of the day, users should educate themselves with the software before trying to use it.
I mean you would not try operating a back hoe or other heavy equipment without at least some kind of training. Users really should apply the same practice to remote admin tools as well.

Do you think that there should be more multilingual support for RATs? When you first start out, it's hard enough to learn what is going on and how it all works, so imagine having to learn about computing terms you've never heard of in another language.

Hackforums wasn't loading properly so I accidentally spam posted and now, I can't delete all of my posts. Sorry about that.
I'm not native English speaker. I find learning computing in English much easier than my native tongue. It's universal and there is much more quality material available online. It's also easier to pick up programming languages if you know the basics of English.

I was more talking about RATs with different language options so people who have poor English don't have to ask what a certain feature means.
