Okay lets start this off by saying, i am a minor and in the 10th grade, about a month ago in school i was trying to install something on my school computer (each student gets provided with their own) but what i was trying to install required elevation. Knowing the Malicious fucking idiot i am, i thought and though of a way to get a admin password.
So one day i walked into my media arts class, and we had just got Photoshop, the teacher came around the class at the beginning of the class and put her password into the UAC to launch Photoshop. I thought to myself, what if i made a log in screen, and pished her password. Also there is one other friend with me doing this (He does not have coding/hacking knowledge he is a normal kid), he wanted the password to install games to his school PC. So that night i went home, and i opened Visual Basic on my main PC, and on my school PC i opened up a UAC, I made this thing look so damn real that i couldn't even tell the difference between the two. But what I did is i made it give a error, and the program "Closes". You will see why i did that soon.
The day of execution: Okay so this day we got into class early, and i put my flash drive in this PC real quick and put the UAC in my documents, I opened it waiting for her to come around the room, when she finally got to me, she put in her username and password, but it gave her a fake error which i told it to and then it closed. I played it off like "weird, maybe you typed it wrong." then opened the real Photoshop, and ofc she put it in again and it opened. After she walked away, i pressed my keystroke i set in the program, to show the other form which stored the username and password, and just like planed, i got her password.
A few days later in this same classroom, we had a substitute teacher , so me and my friend decided to be idiots and log into her username. (Like on the PC), this gave us access to the staff share drive (Where all teachers and administrators share files) in here we were just looking around and we found a folder called bus information in this folder there are more folders, with names of each bus and inside of those there were, spreadsheets these spreadsheets contained, person who rides the bus, contact information, address, etc. Also in the drive we found another spreadsheet named "Student_accounts" this spreadsheet was huge around 14MB, this contained of every single students username, password, email, and student ID's. Both me and my friend stored both the bus info and the accounts on a flash drive.
Okay so about a week has passed and nobody but me and my friend know about this. But the idiot i am, i went to lunch that day asked this kid that sits at my table his name, and i searched for his password and read it out to him, just to scare him. I did this to many people, but i only logged into one account, and logged out almost immediately after. I also gave the spreadsheet of passwords, to 3 other people. Like a idiot.. One day i went home and sent this kid his password over snapchat, and he got pissed, like genially pissed the fuck off, i never thought someone could get this angry over a school password, but i was proved otherwise.
When i got caught: well this is going to be the worst part to write, because its almost like me reliving it, okay so i was in block 2 and i was just siting there doing my work, taking notes. and i remember the assistant principle coming to the door and we made a weird eye contact, at that time i knew i was fucked for something. He said "MyName come with me" (MyName is not actually my name) so i quickly packed up and followed him to his office, we were talking down the hallway and he was like "Do you know what i pulled you out of class for" and i did not want to admit it to it if thats not why im here so i was like "No sir i do not", and at this point we were walking into his office, he pulled me in and i remember what he said word for word "We have got a student complaint, that you have access to there password.", I couldn't lie, if i would have they would have caught me. So i told the truth that it was not just his but it was everyone's.
More after i got caught: In the office, he made me write a confession to what all i had done, and he also made me confess to everything i have done, so i told him about everyone that had it. Then he made me call my dad and tell him to bring in my a personal PC because they needed to check it for, the files, they also took my flash drive and by them, i mean the police not the school. We were sitting in the main MAIN office (Like a fucking conference room), i was speaking to the police officer with my dad beside me, the police officer started to read me my rights, and my heart drooped "You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law...", and my dad cut him off and said "Are you arresting my son??", the police officer said "No, he just needs to know his rights." I was so glad to hear no. About a week later we were called back into the school, for a hearing, this hearing decided my punishment for SCHOOL. For the school punishment i got sent to the alternative school, and 2 days later i got called in again and they told me i had a court date because i was getting charged with computer hacking. My date was the 5th but it got moved to the 19th wish me the best of luck.
