I figured as my old laptop is now a write-off I would use the HDD in my One. However, after I tried to install Windows on it as one last 'HOO-RAH' I can't find it in Explorer, Disk Management or Device Manager.

Can anyone offer me suggestions?

Make sure that the port used by the HDD is enabled in BIOS.
